| dc.description.abstract | Má bakalářská práce byla inspirována filmem Ingmara Bergmana "Persona". Mé dílo je založené na černobílé fotografii a kombinace světel a stínů. Série fotografií zahrnuje více fotografických žánrů: abstrakci, portrét, experiment, krajinu a také video. Většina fotografií se navzájem propojuje. Některé fotografie skal obsahují podobný tvar stínu jako fotografie abstraktní a díky tomu tvoří dvojice. Bergman řekl, že skála je symbol pro sílu a věčnost, ale také nepřístupnost. Jeho film Persona je o emocích a maskách. O tom, že lidstvo bude vždy nosit masky a pravé emoce zůstanou skryté ( slovo "persona" znamená "maska"). Důležitý článek Bergmanova týmu pro mou práci byl jeho kameraman Sven Nykvist. Byl to "kouzelník se světlem". Snažil se točit hlavně v denním, přírodním světle a když potřeboval, tak ho napodoboval. Jeho přístup ke světlu mě inspiroval. Mé dílo je o hledání. Stejně jako Bergman při tvorbě Persony hledal, co je význam umění, tak ja hledam tvary a světla, které by "něco" zobrazovaly, znamenaly. Postava na mých fotografiích take hledá. Hledá sebe. Vy možná budete také chvíli hledat. Budete hledat, kde ta postava je. Co je zač? Je to vůbec člověk? Co má na sobě? Hodně lidí se bude ptát: "Co tam dělá ten portrét? Kdo to je?" a odpověď bude, že je to ta osoba, která hledá, hledá odpovědi, která hledá stíny a světla, hledá sebe. Jsem to já. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | My bachelor thesis was inspired by Ingmar Bergman's movie "Persona". My piece is based on black and white digital photography and combination of lights and shadows. It includes various types of photography: abstract, portrait, experimental, landscape and even a video to create a mysterious installation. You can see that most of the photos connect with each other. For example some of the abstract photographs have similar shapes of shadows as photographs of a structure of the rocks. Bergman said that a rock is a symbol for power and eternity but also an inaccessibility. His movie Persona is about emotions and masks. Bergman said: "A stony shore facing eternity" which in my opinion means that these masks (the word persona also means a mask) will never disappear and the humanity will always wear masks. The most important person for my bachelor thesis was Sven Nykvist who was Bergman's camera guy. He was a light magician. He always tried to get the best natural light or he tried to mimic it. I was inspired by his approach. This piece is about searching something, someone. Same as Bergman was looking for an answer for 'what is the point of being an artist', I'm looking for shadows and shapes. The person in my photos is also looking for something. She is looking for herself. You should be looking for something, too. Who is that person in these photos? Where is she? Is it even a human? What is she wearing? Then you realize there are loads of weird shapes in these rocks. Maybe you will find a face. Maybe you will find some parts of a human body maybe something that nobody else will notice. | en |
