Abstract

Článek na příkladu vývoje pečetního zobrazení reflektuje téma ideových a koncepčních posunů v přístupu k panovnické moci a vládě. Zaměřuje se na období vládců z otonské dynastie a rozebírá jak vývoj použitých forem zobrazení, tak i širší význam tohoto druhu sebeprezentace v evropském kontextu panovnické legitimity.The article uses the example of the development of seal depiction to reflect on the theme of ideological and conceptual shifts in the approach to royal power and government. It focuses on the period of the rulers of the Ottonian dynasty and analyzes both the development of the forms of depiction used and the broader significance of this type of self-presentation in the European context of royal legitimacy.
