dc.description.abstract-translatedThe paper explores how the Blue Ocean Strategy can be leveraged to enhance knowledge valorisation within organizations and academic ecosystems. By shifting focus from competitive, saturated markets to uncontested innovation spaces, Blue Ocean Strategy provides a framework for harnessing underutilized knowledge assets and transforming them into new value propositions. The study reviews theoretical links between knowledge management, commercialization, and open innovation, demonstrating that Blue Ocean approaches support creative exploitation of intellectual capital and foster cross-disciplinary collaboration. Practical implications include strategic tools for identifying Blue Ocean opportunities and facilitating transformative Business Models based on knowledge-driven entrepreneurship. Our findings suggest that integrating knowledge valorisation with Blue Ocean Strategy not only fosters innovation but also drives sustainable growth by enabling organizations to navigate away from competitive Red Oceans. This paper contributes to the literature by providing actionable insights for practitioners seeking to harness their knowledge resources effectively while exploring new avenues for value creation. Ultimately, the paper advocates for a proactive approach to knowledge management, emphasizing the vital role of strategic thinking in shaping future market landscapes.en
