dc.description.abstract-translatedThis paper examines bohemisms in the written Russian of speakers living in the Czech Republic, focusing on online communication such as social media, forums, and messaging apps. The study is based on the framework of contact linguistics and explores language interference between two related Slavic languages—Russian and Czech. Using a corpus of user-generated content from platforms like Facebook, VK, and Telegram, the research classifies bohemisms on lexical, syntactic, and textual levels. Particular attention is paid to expressions that emerge in Russian under the influence of Czech social and institutional context—such as the naming of documents, offices, or procedures—which would not exist outside this environment. The analysis reveals that online communication accelerates these interference processes and contributes to the formation of Russian in contact with Czech. Given the growing number of Russian-speaking residents in the Czech Republic, this topic is highly relevant. The findings also offer practical applications in language education and translation.en
