dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce předkládá Kantův pohled na kategorii vznešena a zároveň zkoumá, jak Kantovo vznešeno interpretuje Lyotrad. Kant v Kritice soudnosti mluví o dynamickém a matematickém vznešenu, čemuž bude v práci také věnována pozornost. Lyotard nalézá spojitost s těmito druhy již v první kritice. Zájem je obrácen také k rozdílům mezi vznešenem a krásnem. Dalším ústředním tématem je Lyotardův náhled na pojem vznešena, které nalézá na rozdíl od Kanta v uměleckých dílech. Z tohoto důvodu se obracíme k avantgardnímu umění, postmodernismu a práci Barnetta Newmana.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe diploma thesis shows Kants's point of view on the category of the sublime and continuously examines Lyotard's interpretation of Kant's sublime. In the Critique of Judgement Kant speaks about dynamical and mathematical sublime, on which the thesis is focused as well. Lyotard already finds a connection with these kinds of sublime in the first critique. Attention is also payed to the differences between the sublime and the beautiful. Another main topic is Lyotard's point of view on the idea of the sublime, which he, in the contrast with Kant, finds in works of art. For this reason we are turning our attention to avant-garde art, postmodernism and the work of Barnett Newman.en
