dc.description.abstractTato bakalářská práce se zabývá teorií globalizace a teorií střetu civilizací. Cílem práce je zaznamenat podstatné znaky obou teorií a na základě porovnání zachytit jejich vztah. Metodologický postup práce se zakládá na komparaci. Globalizace se v nynější době dotýká všech sfér lidského života a přináší sebou určitou změnu ve společnosti. Jedná se o nezadržitelný, spontánní a neřízený proces, který znamená propojení, prolínání, "zploštění světa", časoprostorová komprese a v neposlední řadě glokalizace. Teze o střetu civilizací od amerického politologa Samuela Huntingtona představuje alternativní obraz světového dění po studené válce v současném globalizovaném světě. S oběma teoriemi významně souvisí koncept náboženství.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis bachelor's thesis focuses on the theory of globalization and the clash of civilizations theory. The main objective of this thesis is to note essential features of both theories and capture their relationship by using comparing. Methodological approach is based on comparison. Nowadays, globalization touches on all the areas of human life and brings about a certain social change. It's an unstoppable, spontaneous and uncontrolled process which entails connection, cross-over, "flattening of the world", spatial temporal compression and finally glocalization. Clash of civilization hypothesis by American political scientist Samuel Huntington constitutes an alternative view of world affairs in the post-Cold War globalized world. Both theories are closely tied to the concept of religion.en
