dc.description.abstractTato bakalářská práce se zabývá zobrazením homosexuálů v současné americké literatuře, a reflexí LGBT hnutí, a to konkrétně v dílech Howl od Allena Ginsberga, A Single Man od Christophera Isherwooda, a Faggots a The Normal Heart od Larryho Kramera. První část se zabývá kulturně-historickým pozadím, tedy konceptem homosexuality, homofilními organizacemi, a starší americkou gay literaturou, druhá část práce se skládá ze samotné analýzy a následné reflexe LGBT hnutí ve vybraných dílech.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis bachelor thesis deals with the depiction of homosexuals in contemporary American literature, and the reflection of LGBT movement, namely in the works Howl by Allen Ginsberg, A Single Man by Christopher Isherwood, and Faggots and The Normal Heart by Larry Kramer. The first part of the thesis focuses on the cultural and historical background, i.e. the concept of homosexuality, older American gay literature and homophile organizations. The second part of the thesis comprises of the analysis and the reflection of LGBT movement in selected works.en
