Práce má teoretické-praktický charakter a je zde vysvětlena látka v oblasti transfemorálních amputací přes anatomii, vysvětlení amputace, indikacemi transfemorálních protéz, samotnou analýzou transfemorální protézy a část textu pojednávající o rehabilitaci pacientů s transfemorální amputací.
