| dc.description.abstract | Cílem mé práce je ukázat morfologické a genetické znaky neandertálců, jejich život, symbolické myšlení a geografickou distribuci. Také se zabývám názory na fylogenetický status neandertálců a jejich proměnou v čase. Popisuji koncepty druhu, které se používají v souvislosti s problematikou neandertálců. Zmiňuji klady a zápory jejich fylogenetického statusu a proč by měli být buď samostatný druh, Homo neanderthalensis nebo poddruh Homo sapiens, Homo sapiens neanderthalensis. V závěru práce se zabývám problémem hybridizace a jeho dopadem do fylogenetické systematiky. | cs |

It also contains opinions about phylogenetic status of Neanderthals and their changes in time. The paper describes species concepts usually mentioned with issue of Neanderthals.
