dc.description.abstractZáměrem a cílem této práce je vyjevit a přiblížit příčiny, okolnosti a důsledky bitvy u Sekigahary, která měla zásadní vliv na politický, ale i sociální a kulturní vývoj Japonska po většinu období, které v evropské periodizaci dějin nazýváme novověkem. Pro celistvé uchopení tématu se práce v úvodu soustředí na historický kontext pozdního období sengoku džidai se zvláštní akcentací období Azuči-Momojama a posledních let vlády Tojotomiho Hidejošiho. Majoritní část práce se bude přirozeně zabývat detailním popisem průběhu kampaně, která vyústila v monumentální bitvu u Sekigahary. Pozornost bude věnována i signifikantním aktérům bitvy, jakož i důsledkům pro vnitřní politické uspořádání Japonska. V neposlední řadě se práce zaměřuje i na odkaz bitvy a její připomínání v moderní Japonské kultuře a společnosti.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe purpose and objective of this thesis are to uncover and elucidate the causes, circumstances, and consequences of the Battle of Sekigahara, which had a profound impact on the political, social, and cultural development of Japan for the majority of the period known in European historical periodization as the modern age. To achieve a comprehensive understanding of the topic, the work initially focuses on the historical context of the late Sengoku Jidai period, with a special emphasis on the Azuchi-Momoyama period and the final years of Toyotomi Hideyoshi's reign. The main portion of the work will naturally delve into a detailed description of the campaign's course, culminating in the monumental Battle of Sekigahara. Attention will also be given to the significant actors in the battle, as well as the consequences for the internal political organization of Japan. Last but not least, the work also focuses on the legacy of the battle and its commemoration in modern Japanese culture and society.en
