dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce se věnuje Masarykovu pojetí národa v jeho teoretických spisech a politické praxi ve dvou odlišných etapách jeho života a činnosti: v době před první světovou válkou, kdy působil především jako profesor filosofie a politik v Rakousko-Uhersku, a v době první Československé republiky, kdy se stal prezidentem. Pozornost je zaměřena též na řešení menšinové politiky prvorepublikového Československa, se zaměřením na německou menšinu a reflexi této problematiky v Masarykových textech, především v prvních krizových letech po vzniku republiky.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis diploma thesis deals with Masaryk's concept of nation in his theoretical writings and political practice in two different periods of his life and work - the era before the World War I, when Masaryk worked as professor of philosophy and politician in the Austria - Hungarian Empire, and the era of the first Republic of Czechoslovakia, when he became the President. Attention is paid to the minority politics in the so-called First Republic of Czechoslovakia, with regard to the German minority and the reflection of this problem in Masaryk's writings, especially in the first critical years after the origin of the republic.en
