dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce se zabývá reakcí Spojených států amerických po potopení parníku Lusitania. Popisuje události nejen v oblasti politiky, ale i mezi veřejností a tiskem. Nastíněny jsou také mezinárodní dopady způsobené potopením parníku. Součástí práce je popis dvou období německé ponorkové války a vývoj ponorek. Diplomová práce se také zabývá charakteristikou lodi, poslední cestou Lusitanie a jejím následným potopením.cs
