dc.description.abstractV současnosti gynekologické nádory představují závažný medicínský i společenskoekonomický problém. Gynekologické nádory jsou po nádorech prsu a střeva třetím nejčastějším nádorovým onemocněním u žen, zejména karcinom děložního těla a karcinom děložního hrdla. Každoročně na ně v ČR zemře 1500 až 2000 žen. Přestože neustále dochází k vývoji diagnostických metod, který přispívá k časnějšímu záchytu zhoubných nádorů, pravděpodobně se stále trend stoupajícího výskytu nezastaví ani v nejbližších letech. Nemalou součástí k tomu přispívá zvyšující se věk u žen a stále častěji se objevuje výskyt u mladších žen. Základní léčebnou modalitou v radikální léčbě těchto nádoru je radioterapie jak ve formě zevní tak i vnitřní nebo konkomitantní radiochemoterapie.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedAt present gynecological tumors represent a serious medical and socioeconomic problem. Gynaecological cancer alongside with breast and intestines cancer are the third most common cancer in women, particularly with cancer of the uterine and cervical cancer. In the Czech Republic alone some 1500 to 2000 women die annually as result of this disease. Despite of a substantial progress in researchs and the developments of new diagnostic methods contributing to earlier detection of malignant tumors, the trend in still rising incidence of the disease will not stop in the foreseeable future. An important part of contributing factor in this trend is the increasing age of women however increasingly the incidence appears among younger women. Basic therapeutic modality for the radical treatment of these tumors is radiotherapy in the form of external and internal intervention, or by means of concomitant radiochemotherapy.en
