Aspekty nepřátelské okupace měst za třicetileté války. Středoevropský kontext

Abstract

Třicetiletá válka je obecně považována za období jedné z největších politických a náboženských krizí raného novověku, kterou někteří historici považují za konflikt, během něhož civilisté postupem času přestali rozlišovat mezi vojsky jednotlivých bojujících stran. Předkládaná studie si klade za cíl mimo jiné debatovat o těchto názorech studiem průběhu vojenských pobytů nepřátelských armád ve městech. Následující text se také pokouší obecně shrnout základní aspekty pobytu a nároky tehdejších okupačních armád. Poznatky vycházejí z autorova výzkumu jak novější literatury, tak archivních pramenů v českých zemích včetně Slezska, v Německu (zejména v Horní Falci, Bavorsku a na severu země) a v Rakousku.

The Thirty Years’ War is generally regarded as the period of one of the greatest political and religious crises of the Early Modern era, which some historians view as a conflict during which, over time, civilians stopped distinguishing between the troops of the individual warring parties. The presented study aims, among other things, to debate such opinions by studying the course of the military stays of enemy armies in towns. The following text also attempts to generally summarise the basic aspects of the stay and demands of the occupying armies at the time. The findings are basing on the author’s research of both recent literature and archival sources in the Czech lands, including Silesia, in Germany (especially the Upper Palatinate, Bavaria and the north of the country) and in Austria.
