dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce se zabývá významem off-line hraní šachů v moderní individualizované společnosti. V teoretické části je definován pojem komunita a další klíčové termíny související s výzkumným tématem s ohledem na interpretace autorů a vývoj v čase. V práci si kladu za hlavní cíl zjistit, v jakém postavení je off-line hraní v současné moderní společnosti. V úvodu výzkumu bylo uskutečněno pár krátkých konzultací s šachovými trenéry a majiteli šachových klubů. Výsledků bylo dosaženo šířením dotazníkového šetření mezi aktivní členy českých šachových klubů a mezi aktivní on-line hráče, kteří vystupují na nejznámějších světových fórech. Z výsledků vyplývá, že je to právě klubový a turnajový život, které nejvíce ovlivňují hráčovo pocit sounáležitosti s komunitou.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe bachelor thesis deals with the importance of off-line chess in the modern individualized society. In theoretical part the term community and other key concepts related to the research topic are defined, regarding to the author's interpretations and development over time. This paper aims to determine the status of off-line chess in present modern society. Firstly chess trainers and chess club owners were contacted via e-mail for a consultation linked to the base of the research. Subsequently to assemble data the questionnaire was published among active chess club members and on chess forums of the most popular sites for playing chess on-line. Findings revealed that chess club life and chess tournaments influence player's sense of belonging to a chess community.en
