| dc.description.abstract | Tato práce se zaměřuje na zkoumání tří předchozích stálých předsedů Evropské rady a jejich vzájemné srovnání. Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit, zda se předsedům během jejich funkčního období podařilo splnit požadavek, který vznikl se samotným zřízením funkce v roce 2009 při zahájení platnosti Lisabonské smlouvy. Práce se zaměřuje na studium několika atributů, které jsou pro výkon funkce stálého předsedy Evropské rady klíčové, a hodnotí, jak je zkoumaní předsedové splnili. Zkoumané subjekty byly zkoumány prostřednictvím analýzy jejich výkonu v kontextu předem vybraných událostí, kterým během svého funkčního období čelili, a následně byly hodnoceny.
