dc.description.abstractCílem bakalářské práce je zodpovědět otázky, zda a případně jak došlo k proměně zahraniční politiky Spojených států amerických v návaznosti na ruskou invazi na Ukrajinu a zda je možné pozorovat ve spojení s reakcí na invazi efekt "rally round the flag" (efekt semknutí kolem vlajky). Základem cíle je analýza výroků a kroků prezidenta Spojených států amerických Joe Bidena a jeho administrativy v domácí i zahraniční oblasti. Bakalářská práce se věnuje i vývoji postavení Spojených států amerických v tzv. západním světě ve spojení s ruskou invazí na Ukrajinu. Bakalářská práce sleduje samotný vývoj vztahů mezi Ukrajinou a Spojenými státy americkými od devadesátých let.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedTitle: The reaction of the United States of America to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to answer the questions of whether and how the foreign policy of the United States of America has changed in the wake of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and whether a "rally round the flag" effect can be observed in connection with the reaction to the invasion. The basis of the objective is to analyse the statements and actions of the President of the United States Joe Biden and his administration in the domestic and foreign spheres. The bachelor thesis also examines the development of the position of the United States of America in the so-called Western world in connection with the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The bachelor's thesis traces the actual development of relations between Ukraine and the United States since the 1990s.en
