dc.description.abstract-translatedCreep is an inherent and natural time-dependent property of all materials subjected to sustained loading. This study focuses on the analysis and prediction of the creep behaviour of the thermoplastic material EOS PA 2200 (also known as PA12), which is widely used in manufacturing applications. The creep behaviour of PA12 was monitored using a specialized optical measurement system on Digital Image Correlation (DIC). The positions of high contrast markers on the sample were continuously recorded during the experiment. The experimental results provide the time-dependent creep response for the material under investigation. The Burgers creep model for uniaxial tension was applied to describe and analyse the observed creep behaviour.en
