A study of high strength steel mechanical behaviour during cold roll forming

Abstract

The aim of the work is to investigate the mechanical behaviour of high strength steel during cold roll forming as the forming parameters are changed and to compare the experimental work with the FEA simulation results and acquire a relation of the deviation between the simulation and the real forming process to obtain a better understanding of the behaviour of the newly used high strength steel 1700 MPa in roll forming
