dc.description.abstractCílem práce je posouzení vztahu francouzského osvícenství a jeho hlavních představitelů ke křesťanskému náboženství, k víře jako takové a k církvi jakožto instituci. Pro posouzení a srovnání jsem zvolila deisty d´Alemberta, Diderota a Rousseaua a materialisty La Mettrieho, Helvétia a Holbacha. Samostatnou část věnuji Voltairovi jako nespornému mluvčímu a nejvýznamnějšímu popularizátorovi osvícenských myšlenek. V závěru práce se zabývám posouzením vlivu francouzského osvícenství na pozdější sekularizaci evropské společnosti.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe aim of my dissertation is to consider the relationship of French Enlightenment and its main representatives towards the Christian religion, the faith itself and the Church as an institution. For comparison I choose the deists d´Alembert, Diderot and Rousseau and the materialists La Mettrie, Helvétius and Holbach. A separate chapter is dedicated to Voltaire, the main spokesman and most important promoter of Enlightenment ideas. In the final chapter I review the influence of French Enlightenment on the later secularisation of Europe.en
