dc.description.abstractTato práce pojednává o problematice těhotenství a mateřství žen na invalidním vozíku z pohledu porodní asistentky. V teoretické části je popsán život jedinců se zdravotním postižením, těhotenství a zvlášt-nosti prenatální péče u žen na invalidním vozíku, dále role porodní asistentky v péči o tě-lesně postiženou ženu a v neposlední řadě mateřství s postižením. Praktická část má výzkumný charakter. Jedná se smíšený typ výzkumu, kde byly stanovené výzkumné otázky a problémy. Výsledky výzkumu zdůrazňují potřebu větší informovanosti porodních asistentek, ale i lékařů týkající se těhotenství a podpory po porodu u žen na inva-lidním vozíku, a zajištění většího povědomí o kompetencích porodních asistentek.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis work deals with the issue of pregnancy and motherhood of women in wheelchairs from the perspective of a midwife. The theoretical part describes the lives of individuals with disabilities, pregnancy and the peculiarities of prenatal care for women in wheelchairs, the role of midwives in caring for a disabled woman and, last but not least, motherhood with disabilities. The practical part has a research character. This is a mixed type of research where research questions and problems have been identified. The results of the research emphasize the ne-ed for greater awareness of midwives as well as doctors regarding pregnancy and postpar-tum support for women in wheelchairs and to ensure greater awareness of the competencies of midwives.en
