Tato práce se zabývá příběhem divadla v Sokolově ve zvoleném období a osobnostmi spojenými s tímto regionem a historií. Část diplomové práce mapuje divadelní představení profesionálních souborů v německém jazyce. Češtinu používaly amatérské soubory, které tvořili čeští učitelé. Divadelní život v Sokolově byl ovlivněn sociální a politickou situací. | cs |

This thesis is focused on the story of the theatre in Sokolov in the chosen period and the personalities associated with this region and interval of history. The part of thesis maps theater performances of professional ensembles who they acted in German language. Czech language was used by amateur ensembles that were Czech teachers.
