dc.description.abstractPráce se zaměřuje na zobrazení Prahy a České republiky pro britské a americké turisty v tisku, propagačních materiálech a internetových zdrojích. Nejdříve vymezuje základní pojmy spojené s turismem (turismus, turista, rezident, návštěvník apod.) a stručně charakterizuje historii turismu. V další části práce jsou analyzovány publikace vydávané pro tyto turisty v České republice. Následuje analýza britských a amerických publikací, které jsou také zaměřeny na tyto turisty. Práce poukazuje i na problémy, které vznikají příliš velkou koncentrací turismu na některých místech. Ukazuje, jak je britskými a americkými turisty Česká republika vnímána a jak se toto vnímání mění po jejich návštěvě. Poslední část práce je věnována lingvistické analýze vybraných textů z britských a amerických publikací.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe thesis is focused on the depiction of Prague and the Czech Republic in tourism-related publications for British and American tourists. In the theoretical part, it briefly introduces the basic terms associated with tourism (tourism, tourist, resident, visitor, etc.) and the history of tourism. The next part of the thesis analyses the publications published for these groups of tourists in the Czech Republic. The following part consists of an analysis of British and American publications devoted to these groups of tourists. The thesis also points out problems that arise due to the high concentration of tourism in some places. It shows how British and American tourists perceive the Czech Republic and how this perception is changed after their visit. In the final chapter, the linguistic analysis of selected texts from British and American publications is made.en
