dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce se zabývá kompilací, analýzou a komparací vybraných stvořitelských mýtů ze starověké Mezopotámie a dvou zpráv o stvoření v Bibli. Práce je rozdělena na dvě hlavní části, v každé je představen historický kontext stvořitelských mýtů a následně obsah vybraných stvořitelských mýtů. Mezopotámská mytologie se vyvíjela po tři tisíce let, byla upravována a šířena při vládách různých mezopotámských říší a proto lze nalézt její stopy i v Bibli, která vznikla z dlouhé orální tradice. Obě tyto tradice sdílejí množství motivů, např. zformování člověka z hlíny, prvotní praoceán, oddělení nebe a země a další. Obě tradice se ale také v mnohém liší, např. ve významu stvořitelského aktu, pojetí božské bytosti, vztah boha a člověka, důvodu lidského stvoření a v jeho následném údělu. Na základě těchto komparací lze vidět minulou blízkost obou tradic a jejich pozůstatky v biblické tradici, která se vůči nim později vymezila.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis thesis deals with the compilation, analysis and comparison of selected creation myths from ancient Mesopotamia and two creation accounts in the Bible. The thesis is divided into two main parts, each presenting the historical context of the creation myths and then the content of the selected creation myths. Mesopotamian mythology evolved over three thousand years, was modified and disseminated under the reigns of various Mesopotamian empires, and therefore traces of it can be found in the Bible, which emerged from a long oral tradition. Both traditions share several motives, such as the formation of man from earth, the primordial primeval ocean, the separation of heaven and earth, and others. However, the two traditions also differ in many ways, such as the meaning of the act of creation, the concept of a divine being, the relationship between God and man, the reason for man's creation, and his subsequent destiny. Based on these comparisons we can see the past closeness of the two traditions and their remnants in the biblical tradition, which later defined itself against them.en
