dc.description.abstract-translatedEnergy-based fatigue damage cumulation models represent an effective tool for predicting fatigue life. However, their practical application is limited by the high number of material parameters. The Jiang model contains a total of six material constants. Some of them can be determined independently, but under constant-amplitude loading, three key parameters must be calibrated according to the procedure described in the original work, which complicates its engineering use. The paper focuses on the calibration and application of the simplified model to SS316L in order to compare its predictive capabilities with those of the original model.en
