dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce se zabývá onemocněním diabetes mellitus v těhotenství, konkrétněji gestačním diabetes mellitus (dále jen GDM) a edukací žen s diagnózou GDM. Práce je rozčleněna do dvou částí, a to na teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část je vypracována pomocí odborné literatury a odborných článků. V této části bakalářské práce je zpracována problematika GDM, dále rizikové faktory pro matku a plod, diagnostika GDM a jeho léčba. Následně je zde řešen význam edukace žen v souvislosti s tímto onemocněním. Praktická část je vypracována formou kvalitativního výzkumného šetření, kterého se zúčastnily tři ženy, jimž byl v těhotenství diagnostikován GDM. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce bylo identifkovat míru informovanosti a edukovanosti těhotných žen v problematice GDM. Výsledky práce poukazují na nedostatky v kvalitě edukace žen s GDM.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe bachelor thesis deals with the disease diabetes mellitus in pregnancy, more precisely gestational diabetes mellitus (hereinafter referred to as GDM). The thesis is divided into two parts, a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is developed with the help of proffessional literature and professional articles. This part of the bachelor´s thesis deals with the issue of GDM, risk factors for the mother and the fetus, its diagnosis and treatment. Subsequently, the importance of education in connection with this disease is addressed here, too. The practical part is processed in the form of a qualitative research study, which involved three women who were diagnosed with GDM during pregnancy. The main objective of this bachelor´s thesis was to identify the level of awareness and education of preganant women on the issue of GDM. The results of the thesis point to shortcomings in the quality of education for women with GDM.en
