dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce se zaměřuje na činnost Československé společnosti pro potírání chorob pohlavních v meziválečném Československu. Autorka v úvodu popisuje situaci v nově vzniklém státě s ohledem na stav zdravotnictví, konkrétně na pohlavní choroby. Poté přejde k samostatné společnosti, zaměří se na její ustanovení, přiblíží její stanovy a cíl, který si na poli boje proti pohlavním nemocem vytkla. Dále se na základě nevydaných pramenů pokusí analyzovat činnost společnosti. Koncentruje se na její zápisy z výborových schůzí, zpráv z ústředí, zemských spolků a evidenčních stanic. V závěru nastíní stav a péči ostatních veřejných zdravotních činitelů.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe diploma thesis focuses on the activities of the Czechoslovak Society for Combating Venereal Diseases in interwar Czechoslovakia. In the introduction, the author describes the situation in the newly established state with regard to the state of health care, specifically venereal diseases. She then moves on to the independent society, focusing on its constitution, outlining its statutes and the goal it set itself in the field of combating venereal diseases. It will then attempt to analyse the activities of the society on the basis of unpublished sources. It will concentrate on its minutes of committee meetings, reports from the headquarters, provincial societies and registration stations. Finally, it will outline the status and care of other public health officials.en
