dc.description.abstractPříčiny revoluce měly politický, finanční a sociální charakter. Nejprve je popsána podoba absolutistického režimu. Kritika režimu přicházela především ze strany osvícenských filozofů. Svolané generální stavy měly napomoci nelehkou situaci vyřešit. Národní shromáždění zrušilo feudální systém a položilo základy pro nový stát respektující lidská práva, občanské svobody, rovnost mezi lidmi a ústavu. Na politickém životě té doby se stále více podílely politické kluby a noviny. Francie byla neustále pod tlakem vnitřní i vnější hrozby kontrarevoluce. Revoluce se vyvíjela skrze konflikty. Radikalismu a násilí ve společnosti přibývalo. Povstalecká komuna měla větší moc než zvolení poslanci. Teror probíhal na hospodářské, politické i ideologické úrovni a měl být zaměřen proti kontrarevoluci a zrádcům. Svou nesmlouvavou politikou Robespierre postupně ztrácel podporu mezi poslanci vlastního klubu i mezi pařížskými radikály. Diktatura skončila thermidorským převratem, který se pokusil situaci stabilizovat.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe causes of the revolution had political, financial and social character. The form of the absolute monarchy is described at the beginning of the thesis. Criticism of absolute regime was primarily conducted by the philosophers of the Enlightenment. The convocation of the Estates-General should have solved the difficult situation. The National Assembly abolished the feudal system and laid the foundations for the new state where the human rights, freedom of citizens, equality of people and constitution were respected. Political clubs and the press developed an important position in political life. France was menaced by the threats of inner and outer counter-revolution. The revolution evolved through conflicts. Radicalism and violence grew in the society. The commune was more influential than elected deputies. Terror took place on the economic, political and ideological level and should have been targeted at the traitors and counter revolution. Due to his uncompromising policy Robespierre gradually lost support from members of his own club and the Parisian radicals. The dictatorship ended with the Thermidorian Reaction, which attempted to stabilize the situation.en
