| dc.description.abstract-translated | Objectives: Using the application of techniques of manual, machining of materials and 3D printing, discussed during the teaching of the subject Design and construction, to make a product usable in teaching. The product should contain interdisciplinary overlaps. Description: The trebuchet product is made mainly of wood. Parts that required higher production accuracy were printed on a 3D printer. This is a model of a historical weapon and a demonstration of historical engineering in practice, when for effective shooting a functional ratio of lengths of arms and hinge for the projectile basket had to be found, this ratio must be observed during the production of the model. The product can be used in teaching history as a visual aid in the study of siege techniques and the gradual development of weapons. Furthermore, the product can be used in teaching physics, where it is possible to demonstrate the laws of physics, where the product can transfer the balance on the lever, the movement in a circle and the first Newton's law.
