dc.description.abstractTato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na role USA jako garanta mezinárodní bezpečnosti ve zkoumaném období od konce studené války do roku 2001. Práce je rozdělena do 2 kapitol. První kapitola vysvětluje základní pojmy bakalářské práce, tedy hlavní role garanta bezpečnosti. Jedná se o intervenujícího aktéra, mediátora, obránce a podporovatele demokracie, svobody, lidských práv a liberálního mezinárodního pořádku a v poslední řadě garanta bezpečnosti konkrétních států na základě bilaterálních smluv. Druhá kapitola se zabývá konkrétními událostmi, ve kterých USA se ocitly v roli garanta mezinárodní bezpečnosti v daném zkoumaném období.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis bachelor thesis is looking into a topic of the US as a guarantor of international security in the period between the end of the cold war and the terrorist attack on The World Trade Center in September 11th 2001. The paper is divided into two main chapters; the first chapter explains the most significant term "security guarantor" and it´s roles which are an intervening actor, mediator, a security guarantor by bilateral consensus, and defender and supporter of democracy, freedom, human rights, and the liberal international order. The second chapter deals with specific events in which the United States found itself in the role of guarantor of international security in the period under study. The content of the second chapter of this work is an examination of the activities and procedures by which the US ensured security in the international environment within the roles of security guarantor.en
