dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce analyzuje geopolitický význam Malackého průlivu na úrovni regionálních a globálních aktérů. Představuje Malacký průliv jako významný škrtící bod současného námořního systému a vývoj jeho významu v průběhu dějin. Práce představuje přístupy regionálních aktérů (Malajsie, Indonésie a Singapur), doplněné globálními aktéry (Čína, USA, Japonsko, Indie a Jižní Korea). Na základě této analýzy jsou patrné rozdílné i jednotící prvky přístupů jednotlivých aktérů. Dále práce analyzuje možné alternativní transportní, kterými je možné snížit geopolitický význam Malackého průlivu. Diplomová práce představuje konkrétní projekty, kterými se aktéři pokoušejí snížit svou závislost na transportu zboží skrze Malacký průliv. Diplomová práce se opírá o dokumenty, odborné publikace a mediální výstupy týkající se geopolitické situace v regionu jihovýchodní Asie.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe thesis analyses the geopolitical importance of the Strait of Malacca at the level of regional and global actors. It presents the Strait of Malacca as an important choke point of the contemporary maritime system and the evolution of its importance throughout history. The paper presents the approaches of regional actors (Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore), complemented by global actors (China, USA, Japan, India and South Korea). Based on this analysis, the divergent and unifying elements of each actor's approaches are evident. Furthermore, the thesis analyses possible alternative transport that can be used to reduce the geopolitical significance of the Strait of Malacca. The thesis presents specific projects by which actors attempt to reduce their dependence on the transport of goods through the Strait of Malacca. The thesis draws on documents, scholarly publications and media outputs related to the geopolitical situation in the Southeast Asian region.en
