dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce zkoumá dílo významné osobnosti české vědy Františka Běhounka. Práce ukazuje aspekty činnosti vědce, popularizátora vědy, spisovatele. Diplomová práce sleduje stav a proměny dobového kulturního a sociálního kontextu, který podmínil a umožnil jeho objevy a poskytl prostor pro realizaci jeho činnosti. Hlavním předmětem rozboru Běhounkova díla je jeho činnost v oblasti popularizace vědy a porovnání vývoje populárně naučného a literárního díla z hlediska obsahu, jazyka a kulturních, sociálních a politických vlivů v jednotlivých údobích. Diplomová práce se zabývá Běhounkovým dílem v uceleném rozsahu. Diplomová práce je doplněna o doslov, ve kterém se zabývá výkladem základních pojmů popularizace vědy. Hlavní část práce se zabývá Běhounkovou vědeckou a literární činností ve čtyřech časových obdobích, a to v letech 1920 ? 1939, 1940 ? 1948, 1949 ? 1960 a 1961-1973. Každé časové období je uvedeno historickým exkurzem. Po tomto úvodu následují jednotlivé pasáže, které se týkají Běhounkova života, jeho vědeckého díla, popularizačního a literárního díla. Díla v jednotlivých podkapitolách jsou seřazena chronologicky. Důraz je kladen na popularizační část Běhounkovy tvorby. Na závěr každého období je proveden stručný souhrn důležitých informací. Pro tuto kapitolu je použita komparativní metoda. Pro diplomovou práci je využita literatura v českém a anglickém jazyce. Diplomová práce vychází z literatury, která se zabývá problematikou filosofie, vývoje, teorie, metodologie a dějin vědy a techniky. Hlavní část diplomové práce se především opírá o bibliografii Františka Běhounka. Závěr diplomové práce obsahuje shrnutí zjištěných skutečnosti a vyhodnocení hypotéz této práce.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe thesis deals with the personality of a remarkable person of the Czech science František Běhounek. The work shows the aspects of his activities as a scientist, a science communicator, a writer. The thesis monitors the stage and the changes of the contemporary cultural and social context that conditioned and afforded a space for the realisation of his activity. The main issue of the analysis of the Běhounek?s work is his ac-tivity in the field of the science communication and a comparison of the development of the non-fiction and literary work in light of content, lan-guage and cultural, social and political influence in particular periods of time. The thesis concerns with the Běhounek?s work in a compact exten-sion. The research part of the thesis is concerned with Běhounek?s science and literary activities in four periods of time, i.e. 1920 ? 1939, 1940 ? 1948, 1949 ? 1960 a 1961-1973. Each period of time is introduced by a historical excursus. After this introduction, there are particular passages that are linked with the life of Běhounek, his scientific work, popularisation and literary work. Pieces of his writing, that are named in particular chapters, are ordered chronologically. The emphasis is put on the science-popularisation part of Běhounek?s activity. There is a brief summary of important information in the end of every period of time. This chapter was elaborated with a comparative method. The postface concerned with the common principles of the science communication. In this chapter, it is en-gaged with a definition of basic terms of the science communication. The thesis is based on literature that concerns with matters of philosophy, progress, theory, methodology and history of science and technics. The research part of the thesis stems from the František Běhounek?s bibliog-raphy. The closure of the thesis includes a summary of detected facts and evaluation of hypotheses of this work.en
