dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce pojednává o ženských spolcích západočeského kraje. První kapitola se zabývá vývojem ženské emancipace, s přihlédnutím k celoevropským souvislostem. Dále je zde popsáno české ženské hnutí, ke kterému se řadí vznik prvních pražských ženských spolků. Další část práce je věnována spolkům a klubům z Plzně a Rokycan, jejich vzniku, vývoji a náplni. K této části jsou připojeny kapitoly o slavných členkách těchto institucí. Na konec práce jsou přidány přílohy s portréty významných žen a mužů a obrázky staveb.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis thesis is devoted to women´s associations and clubs in Pilsen and Rokycany in the late 19th century and the early 20th century. The initial part is focused on the development of women´s emancipation in the Czech lands, with regard to the pan-European context. Here, the concept of emancipation is explained and various historcal milestones of this period are described. This section documents the struggle of women for their rights. The following part deals with the women´s associations and clubs in Pilsen and in Rokycany. These clubs were mainly engaged in education, entertainment, and charitable activities through application in life. The subsequent chapter is dedicated to women of significant associations and clubs of West Bohemia. It also outlines the life and membership in the associations. The objective of this thesis is to show the great efforts of women in the establishment of the associations. At the end of the thesis there are inserted attachments with portraits of men and women and pictures of buildings.en
