dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce "Střední Evropa jako transnacionální region - komparace alternativ vymezení regionu" se mimo úvodní kapitolu utvářející stručný přehled pojímání tohoto regionu věnuje komparaci čtyř koncepcí středoevropského uspořádání, které vznikly v průběhu 20. století. Jedná se o koncepce Mitteleuropy v podání Friedricha Naumanna, střední Evropy jako "hráze" proti germánské expanzi popsané v Nové Evropě od T. G. Masaryka, střední Evropy jako "mostu" mezi Východem a Západem v pojetí Edvarda Beneše a středoevropské spolupráce v rámci Visegrádské skupiny. Vedle toho je zde věnována pozornost diskusi v průběhu studené války jako období, kdy střední Evropa byla rozdělena mezi Východ a Západ. Podkladem pro rozbor jsou převážně díla autorů koncepcí. V závěrečné komparaci je provedeno srovnání příčin vzniku, prostorového vymezení a politicko-geografického těžiště a cílů.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedBachelor's thesis "Central Europe as Transnational Region - Comparison of Regional Delimitation Alternatives" is, besides introductory chapter which consists of brief overview of the understanding of this region, dedicated to comparison of four Central European organization concepts, which were developed during the 20th century. These are the conceptions: Mitteleuropa by Friedrich Naumann, Central Europe as a "bar" against German expansion described in New Europe by T. G. Masaryk, Central Europe as a "bridge" between the East and the West by Edvard Beneš, and Central European cooperation within the Visegrad Group. In addition, attention is given to the discussion during the Cold War as a period when Central Europe was divided between the East and the West. The prerequisite for the analysis is mostly work of the authors of previously mentioned conceptions. In the final comparison, attention is given to the cause of origin, spatial delimitation, and politico-geographic focus and objectives.en
