Abstract
Pražský biskup Jan věnoval strahovskému klášteru při jeho vzniku v polovině 12. století mimo jiné Hořice a dalších pět vesnic v okolí. Ale už v následujícím století není o premonstrátech na Hořicku žádná zmínka. Teprve v první polovině 19. století se připomenuli osobou Josefa Ladislava Jandery, hořického rodáka a strahovského premonstráta, profesora matematiky na pražské univerzitě. Do doby zcela nedávné se datují vztahy mezi strahovským klášterem a hořickou sochařskou školou.
The Prague bishop Jan dedicated the Strahov Monastery to its creation in the middle of the 12th century, among others Hořice and five other villages in the area. But in the following century there is no mention of the Premonstratensians at Horicko. Only in the first half of the 19th century reminds Strahov Josef Ladislav Jandera, native of Hořice and Strahov Premonstratensian, who was a professor of mathematics at the University of Prague. Until recently, the relationship between the Strahov monastery and the Hořice sculpture school dates.
