dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce se zabývá výzkumem francouzské geopolitiky v rámci teorie a politické praxe. Hlavním tématem práce je analyzovat přístup francouzské geopolitické školy a aplikovat jej do prostředí Francie po roce 1981. Práce zkoumá vztahy Francie s Německem, Spojenými státy americkými potažmo Severoatlantickou aliancí a zabývá se francouzským vztahem k africkému kontinentu. Hlavní výzkumnou otázkou je ukázat nakolik se rozhodování prezidentů odlišovalo od původních myšlenek francouzské geopolitické školy. První část práce je věnována geopolitickým myšlenkám představitelů francouzské geopolitické školy. Specifický francouzský přístup k Německu, Spojeným státům americkým a některým africkým zemím umožnil vznik jedinečného geopolitického přístupu, který byl typický pouze pro Francii. Druhá část práce je zaměřena na specifické vazby Francie ke zmiňovaným zemím. Tento přístup bude v práci demonstrován v době prezidentského mandátu Françoise Mitterranda, Jacquese Chiraca a Nicolase Sarkozyho.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe presented thesis deals with French geopolitics with respect to theoretical background and political experience. The main aim of this thesis is to analyze the approach of the French school of geopolitics and apply the results to the French political ambience after 1981. The thesis explores relationship between France and Germany, the United States of America and some countries in Africa. The main research question is how much the decisions made by presidents of France were different from initial thoughts of French school of geopolitics. The first part of the thesis dedicates to the theories given by representatives of the French geopolitical school. Specific French attitude to Germany, the USA and some African countries gave impulse to create unique geopolitical approach which was typical just for France. The second part of the thesis focuses on specific relationship of France and mentioned countries. This approach will be also demonstrated on the governance of François Mitterrand, Jacques Chirac and Nicolas Sarkozy.en
