dc.description.abstractTato bakalářská práce se zabývá fenoménem hluboké polarizace americké společnosti, jak se manifestovala během prezidentských voleb v roce 2024. Zaměřuje se na střet "netolerantního liberalismu" a proudu Christian Right, přičemž analyzuje, jak jsou tyto ideologické rozdíly zesilovány současnými společenskými a politickými trendy, včetně hybridních válek a radikalizace.<br>Teoretická část práce objasňuje klíčové pojmy jako netolerantní liberalismus, Christian Right a teorii nálepkování (labelling theory), která se zde využívá jako nástroj k pochopení dynamiky vzájemného označování a vymezování politických aktérů. Analytická část je věnována závěrečné fázi prezidentské kampaně mezi K. Harrisovou a D. Trumpem - konkrétně období od televizní debaty 10. září 2024 do voleb 6. listopadu 2024. Cílem výzkumu je identifikovat používané nálepky mezi kandidáty a doložit, jak reflektují hlubší konflikt mezi liberální a konzervativní ideologií.<br>Práce přispívá k porozumění tomu, jak politický diskurz a mechanismus označování formují vnímání identity, hodnot a směřování současné americké společnosti.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis bachelor thesis examines the phenomenon of deep polarization in American society as manifested during the 2024 presidential election. It focuses on the clash between "intolerant liberalism" and the Christian Right, analyzing how these ideological differences are amplified by current social and political trends, including hybrid wars and radicalization.<br>The theoretical part of the thesis clarifies key concepts such as intolerant liberalism, the Christian Right, and labelling theory, which is used here as a tool for understanding the dynamics of mutual labelling and definition of political actors. The analytical part is devoted to the final phase of the presidential campaign between K. Harris and D. Trumpspecifically, the period from the televised debate on September 10, 2024, to the election on November 6, 2024. The aim of the research is to identify the labels used between the candidates and to demonstrate how they reflect the deeper conflict between liberal and conservative ideology.<br>The work contributes to an understanding of how political discourse and the mechanism of labeling shape the perception of identity, values, and the direction of contemporary American society.en
