dc.description.abstractPráce se primárně zaměřuje na fenomén sériových vrahů v 70. letech 20. století v USA a jejich vliv na společnost. V této práci se pokusím téma zasadit do celospolečenského vývoje v USA a pokusím se naleznout příčiny jednání sériových vrahů ve spojitosti s reakcí na problémy doby. Celkově totiž činnost některých vrahů působí jako extrémní projev nespokojenosti se směřování americké společnosti. Konkrétně se práce bude zaměřovat na osoby, jako byl Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy a nebo nikdy nedopadený Zodiak. Téma v sobě také skýtá prostor pro rozbor kultu kolem Charlese Mansona, za kterého vraždili jeho blízcí a který byl hodně ovlivněn tehdejší dobou. Práce se zaměří jednak na život vrahů a jednak na motiv, který je vedl k jejich činnosti a také na to jak dokáže člověka ovlivnit špatné dětství ve špatné době. Rovněž se zaměřím na činnost policie a reakci společnosti na činnost vrahů, protože zprávy o nich se pravidelně objevovaly v tehdejších masových médiích.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe work primarily focuses on the phenomenon of serial killers in the 1970s in the USA and their impact on society. In this thesis, I will attempt to situate the topic within the societal developments in the U.S. and try to find the reasons for the actions of serial killers in relation to the response to the problems of the time. This is because overall, the actions of some killers act as an extreme expression of dissatisfaction with the direction of American society. Specifically, the thesis will focus on individuals such as Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy, and the never-ending Zodiac. The topic also holds within it the space to analyze the cult around Charles Manson, who was murdered by those close to him and was greatly influenced by the times. The thesis will focus on both the life of the killers and the motive that led them to their actions, as well as how a bad childhood in a bad time can affect a person. I will also focus on the actions of the police and the reaction of society to the killers' activities, as news of them appeared regularly in the mass media of the time.en
