V práci jsou zmíněny jak první doložitelná setkání s indiány Čerokij, tak jejich rozepře s koloniálními evropskými státy. V další části práce se zaměřuje na moderní demokratický Čerokijský stát, jeho postupný rozvoj a následný rychlý úpadek. V poslední části je pak popsán odsun indiánského kmen Čerokij z jeho historických území na jihovýchodě severní Ameriky. | cs |
