dc.description.abstractPředmětem zkoumání této bakalářské práce je historický vývoj Městského muzea v Horažďovicích. Práce detailně přibližuje dějiny této více než 125 let staré instituce, jež měla od dob svého vzniku výrazný vliv na budování veřejného kulturního života ve městě. Klíčová pozornost je věnována vývojovým etapám, jež jsou spojeny s činností výboru Muzejní společnosti. Ten měl vedoucí postavení v hájení zájmů muzea, v jeho chodu a orientaci po několik desetiletí. K nejvýraznějším činitelům sdružení jsou řazeni muzejní správci a pedagogové Štěpán Karel Vydra, Hynek Brejcha, Karel Němec či Josef Šochman. Jejich osudy v návaznosti na kontext muzea jsou v práci detailně přiblíženy. Ke komplexnosti zkoumaného tématu v neposlední řadě přispívá také celek věnující se spolkovému životu. Kulturní ochranářské spolky na Horažďovicku, jakými byly Okrašlovací spolek a Spolek pro zachování památek, jsou v práci zahrnuty kvůli své důležitosti pro instituci, která skrze je rozšiřovala své zájmové okruhy o další tematické oblasti.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe subject of this bachelor thesis is the historical development of the Municipal Museum in Horažďovice. The thesis presents in detail the history of this more than 125-year-old scientific institution, which had a significant influence on the development of public cultural life in the town since its foundation. Key attention is paid to the developmental stages, which are intertwined with the activities of the committee of the Museum Society. It has been in a leading position in defending the interests of the museum, in its operation and orientation for several decades. Among the most prominent figures of the association were the museum administrators and educators Štěpán Karel Vydra, Hynek Brejcha, Karel Němec and Josef Šochman. Their fates in relation to the context of the museum are discussed in detail in the thesis. Last but not least, a whole section devoted to social life, activities of which were largely influenced by the museum and its staff, contributes to the complexity of the topic under study. Cultural preservation societies in Horažďovice, such as the Ornamental Society and the Society for the Preservation of Monuments, are included in the thesis because of their importance for the museum, through which it expanded its fields of interest to include other thematic areas.en
