dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce se bude zabývat sociálními, etnickými a náboženskými kořeny a souvislostmi genocidy ve Rwandě, která se sice odehrála v roce 1994, ale její kořeny sahají hluboko do koloniální minulosti. Analyzován bude význam katolické církve pro formulování etnických a rasových kategorií Hutu a Tutsi, socio-ekonomické aspekty vzdělávání a mocenské vztahy uvnitř rwandské společnosti od doby kolonialismu do vypuknutí genocidy. Autorka ke svému výzkumu využije široké spektrum sekundární literatury i primárních pramenů v podobě rozhovorů z Centra vizuální historie Malach při MFF UK.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe thesis will deal with the social, ethnic and religious causes and reasons of the Rwandan genocide which when occurred in 1994, but its roots goes back deep into the colonial era. There will be the importance of the Catholic Church for the formulation of the ethnic and racial categories Hutu and Tutsi analysed, as well the socially-economic aspects of education and power relations within the Rwandan society since the colonial era to the outbreak of genocide. For the research, the author will use a wide range of secondary literature, as well as primary sources in the form of videorecordings of dialogues from the Centre of Visual History Malach MFF UK.en
