| dc.description.abstract | Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou efektivního řízení projektů prostřednictvím vizualizace dat, se zvláštním zaměřením na nástroj Microsoft Power BI. Cílem práce je navrhnout a implementovat řešení, které zefektivní reporting v rámci transferových projektů ve vybrané společnosti. Teoretická část práce se věnuje vývoji projektového managementu, přehledu jeho metodik (např. Waterfall, Agile, Kanban, Scrum, PRINCE2, PMBOK, Six Sigma, Lean a CPM) a principům efektivní datové vizualizace a datového storytellingu. Součástí je také srovnání nástrojů pro vizualizaci dat, včetně Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio a MS Excel. Praktická část popisuje prostředí konkrétní společnosti, analyzuje současný stav reportování a identifikuje hlavní nedostatky v oblasti přehlednosti a dostupnosti dat. Na základě této analýzy bylo navrženo řešení, které zahrnuje úpravu datových zdrojů, jejich transformaci a automatizaci aktualizací, a tvorbu interaktivních přehledových dashboardů v Power BI. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | This thesis focuses on the issue of effective project management through data visualisation, with a particular emphasis on the Microsoft Power BI tool. The thesis aims to design and implement a solution that streamlines reporting within transfer projects in a selected company. The theoretical part examines the development of project management, provides an overview of its methodologies (such as Waterfall, Agile, Kanban, Scrum, PRINCE2, PMBOK, Six Sigma, Lean, and CPM), and explains the principles of effective data visualisation and data storytelling. It also includes a comparison of data visualisation tools, including Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio, and MS Excel. The practical part describes the company environment, analyses the current state of reporting, and identifies key deficiencies in data clarity and availability. Based on this analysis, a solution was proposed involving data source adjustments, transformation and automation of updates, and the creation of interactive dashboards in Power BI. | en |
