Is the required Skillset of the Operator 5.0 and the Ageing Workforce compatible? A Review to indicate Synergies and Target Conflicts

Abstract

Recent years have been the start of research regarding the topic of Industry 5.0. One of the first fields that have been researched regarding this topic was the human factor since this next industrial revolution has its focus on human- centred production. Due to that, the vision of the so-called Operator 5.0 was mentioned. Similar to its predecessor, the Operator 4.0, this vision contains some skills that are helpful during this revolution. Thus, the ongoing demographic trend of the aging workforce leads to some alternations in the average operators’ skills as well. The theoretical background elaborates fundamentals of the Operator 4.0 as well as the Operator 5.0 and already known findings for the skills of the aging workforce. This method shows an exploratory research of the required skills for the Operator 5.0. A combined research question including the demographic trend will be defined in order to compare the results. The databases of Scopus, Science Direct, IEEE and Web of Science have been screened and the mentioned skills have been grouped. The qualitative results show synergies regarding resilience as well as conflicts regarding technology affinity as well as some uncertainties regarding other skills. Further, a comparison to the characteristics of the Operator 4.0 as well as an outlook for future research is given.Poslední roky byly začátkem výzkumu týkajícího se tématu Průmysl 5.0. Jednou z prvních oblastí, které byly v tomto ohledu zkoumány, byl lidský faktor, jelikož tato další průmyslová revoluce se zaměřuje na výrobu zaměřenou na člověka. Z tohoto důvodu byla zmíněna vize tzv. Operátora 5.0. Podobně jako jeho předchůdce, Operátor 4.0, i tato vize obsahuje některé dovednosti, které jsou během této revoluce užitečné. Pokračující demografický trend stárnoucí pracovní síly tak vede k určitým změnám i v dovednostech průměrných operátorů. Teoretické pozadí rozpracovává základy Operátora 4.0 i Operátora 5.0 a již známá zjištění týkající se dovedností stárnoucí pracovní síly. Tato metoda ukazuje průzkumný výzkum požadovaných dovedností pro Operátora 5.0. Pro porovnání výsledků bude definována kombinovaná výzkumná otázka zahrnující demografický trend. Byly prověřeny databáze Scopus, Science Direct, IEEE a Web of Science a uvedené dovednosti byly seskupeny. Kvalitativní výsledky ukazují synergie ohledně odolnosti, ale i konflikty ohledně technologické afinity a také některé nejistoty ohledně dalších dovedností. Dále je uvedeno srovnání s charakteristikami Operatoru 4.0 a také výhled budoucího výzkumu.
