dc.description.abstractBakalářská práce se zabývá výskytem deprese u seniorů. Skládá se z teoretické a praktické části. Teoretická část je zaměřena na stárnutí, stáří, přípravu a adaptaci na stáří a na soběstačnost. Dále se zabývá depresí obecně a depresí ve stáří, popisuje druhy deprese, rizikové faktory pro rozvoj deprese, vybrané hodnotící škály deprese v seniorském věku a ošetřovatelskou péči u pacientů s depresí. Výsledky výzkumného šetření ukázaly, že u 1/3 respondentů byla přítomna mírná deprese nebo manifestní deprese, dále výzkum poukázal, že sociální izolace a omezená soběstačnost jsou spojeny se zvýšeným rizikem zhoršení psychického stavu a depresivních příznaků.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe bachelor thesis deals with the occurrence of depression in the elderly. It consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part focuses on aging, old age, preparation and adaptation to old age and self-sufficiency. It also deals with depression in general and depression in old age, describes types of depression, risk factors for the development of depression, selected depression rating scales in the elderly and nursing care of patients with depression. The results of the research showed that 1/3 of the respondents had mild depression or manifest depression; furthermore, the research indicated that social isolation and limited self-sufficiency were associated with an increased risk of worsening psychiatric status and depressive symptoms.en
