| dc.description.abstract | Bakalářská práce se zaměří primárně na průběh obou Balkánských válek, které proběhly v letech 1912-1913. Úvod práce nejprve nastíní historický kontext, ze kterého války vzešly, s důrazem na rostoucí národní cítění na Balkáně a upadající moc Osmanské říše. Následně bude pozornost věnována průběhu válek s důrazem na popis klíčových bitev, diplomatických manévrů a zlomových momentů. První část se zaměří na formování Balkánského svazu a jeho útok na Osmanskou říši. Dále nastíní roli evropských velmocí a jejich snahy o mírové urovnání konfliktu. Druhá část práce bude analyzována z pohledu rozpadu Balkánského svazu a následné agrese Bulharska vůči jeho bývalým spojenců. Práce se i v druhé části zaměří na mírové smlouvy a jejich důsledky pro Bulharsko a zbytek regionu. Závěr práce zhodnotí dalekosáhlé dopady Balkánských válek na Balkánský poloostrov i celou Evropu a analyzuje vliv válek na geopolitickou situaci v Evropě a jejich roli jako předehry k první světové válce. | cs |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | The bachelor's thesis will focus primarily on the course of both Balkan Wars, which took place in 1912-1913. The introduction of the thesis will first outline the historical context from which the wars emerged, with an emphasis on the growing national sentiment in the Balkans and the declining power of the Ottoman Empire. Subsequently, attention will be paid to the course of the wars with an emphasis on the description of key battles, diplomatic maneuvers and turning points. The first part will focus on the formation of the Balkan League and its attack on the Ottoman Empire. It will also outline the role of the European powers and their efforts to peacefully settle the conflict. The second part of the thesis will be analyzed from the perspective of the collapse of the Balkan League and the subsequent aggression of Bulgaria against its former allies. The thesis will also focus in the second part on the peace treaties and their consequences for Bulgaria and the rest of the region. The conclusion of the thesis evaluates the far-reaching impacts of the Balkan Wars on the Balkan Peninsula and the whole of Europe and analyzes the influence of the wars on the geopolitical situation in Europe and their role as a prelude to the First World War. | en |
