dc.description.abstractRetribuce (z lat. retributio – odplata) byl souhrn legislativních a organizačních opatření k potrestání nacistů, zrádců a kolaborantů za zločiny spáchané proti životu, zdraví, svobodě a majetku občanů Protektorátu Čechy a Morava. Retribučními vězni se stali Němci, Maďaři, Češi a Slováci, jejichž tresty byly zkracovány udílením milostí v ná vaznosti na amnestie v letech 1953 a 1955. Výkon trestu nepříznivě ovlivňovaly špatné životní a pracovní podmínky a negativní přístup vězeňského personálu, který v retribučních vězních stále spatřoval „národního nepřítele“. Po roce 1948 se negativní přístup přenesl na vězněné odpůrce komunistického režimu – „třídní nepřátele“. Z historické zkušenosti vyplývá,cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedRetribution (from lat. retributio – retribution) was a set of legislative and organizational measures to punish Nazis, traitors and collaborators for crimes committed against the life, health, freedom and property of citizens of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. Germans, Hungarians, Czechs and Slovaks became retribution prisoners, whose sentences were shortened by pardons following amnesties in 1953 and 1955. The execution of the sentence was adversely affected by poor living and working conditions and the negative attitude of the prison staff, who still saw the retribution prisoners as a ,,national enemy“. After 1948, the negative attitude was transferred to imprisoned opponents of the communist regime – ,,class enemies“. Historical experience shows that treating prisoners on the basis of ideological considerations leads to violations of prison and fundamental human rights.en
