| dc.description.abstract | Tato práce je zaměřena na těžbu zlata a diamantů v Africe v letech 1997-2012. Primárně je orientována na detaily ve vývoji těžby ve vybraných letech. Jsou zde detailně popsáni největší producenti těchto minerálů v Africe, i ostatní státy zabývající se těžbou. Ke zhodnocení změn v průběhu vybraných let byla použita indexová analýza, ke zhodnocení vývoje produkce celé Afriky - časových řad. Dále se práce zabývá porovnáním africké produkce zlata a diamantů s produkcí světovou, především jaký má Afrika na světové produkci podíl z hlediska států i celého světadílu. Na závěr byl zhodnocen podíl Afriky na světovém exportu zlata a diamantů. Součástí jsou mapy, které zobrazují největší zlaté a diamantové doly, a také kartodiagramy, které ukazují produkce vybraných států roce 2012 na celkové produkci v letech 1997-2012. | dc.description.abstract-translated | This thesis mainly focuses on extraction of gold and diamonds in Africa during the years of 1997-2012. It is primarily oriented around details on development of extraction in the given years. The biggest producers of these minerals in Africa are described in detail in this thesis, as well as other countries dealing with extractions. In order to appreciate the difference during the chosen years an index analysis has been used, and to appreciate the development of the production in the whole of Africa- a time line has been chosen. The thesis also compares African production of gold and diamonds with that of the rest of the world, mainly what share Africa has on the world production from the viewpoint of all the other States and also the whole continent. At the end, Africa's share in world exportation of gold and diamonds has been evaluated. Maps are attached which show the biggest gold and diamond mines, also cartodiagrams which show production of the chosen States in 2012 and the complete production during 1997-2012. In this thesis extraction companies, who deal with extraction of gold and diamonds in Africa, are compared. | en |
