dc.description.abstractTato diplomová práce se zabývá cyklistickou dopravou na území města Plzně. Na začátku jsou vymezeny cíle práce, popsána obecná metodika vypracování a představena základní literatura týkající se daného tématu. Následuje definice základních pojmů souvisejících s cyklistickou infrastrukturou a rozbor cyklistické dopravy ve strategických dokumentech. Dále jsou představeny trendy a zkušenosti ze světa. Další kapitola je věnována vybraným geografickým charakteristikám města Plzně, mimo jiné dopravě. Následující část se věnuje analýze samotné cyklistické dopravy ve vybraném území. V další části je popsáno mapování cyklistických stezek a tras. V poslední části jsou představeny výsledky a návrhy potenciálního rozvoje cyklistické dopravy v Plzni.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis diploma thesis is focused on cycling transport in the city of Pilsen. At the beginning the objectives of the thesis are set, the methodology used during the research is described and the literature related to the topic is introduced. The next part defines the main terms of cycling transport and analyzes this type of transport in the strategic documentation. The following part introduces trends and experience from the world. Then geographic characteristics of the city of Pilsen are selected, including transport. Next there is the analysis of cycling transport in Pilsen. The next part describes the mapping of bicycle paths and routes. At the end of this diploma thesis, there are results and suggestions on the potentional development of cyclist transport in the city of Pilsen.en
