Abstract

The paper focuses on the presentation of actual outcomes related to the transfer of knowledge of the Industry 4.0 concept to specific employees who encounter Industry 4.0 technologies at work or plan to use them in the future and to students of industrial engineering. The transfer of knowledge begins with the introduction of technologies such as a collaborative robot and a sample production line as black boxes. Subsequently, using a kit based on the STEM principle, participants are exposed to the HW elements of these devices such as building blocks, sensors, etc., and methods for managing and controlling them, and methods of collecting data from these elements and the possibility of further processing this data. The article also describes the equipment in the specialized laboratories that we use for knowledge transfer.
