dc.description.abstractDiplomová práce se zabývá analýzou kulturních reprezentací v seriálu Most! a jejich konfrontací s obyvateli města Mostu. Práce se soustředí na interpretaci těchto reprezentací, jejich symbolický význam, jak s těmito reprezentacemi obyvatelé Mostu v sociálním životě nakládají a jak je případně přetváří v rámci svých osvojených kulturních schémat. Metodologickým ohniskem práce je etnografický výzkum, jehož design má podobu smíšeného výzkumu. Výzkumná data jsou interpretována skrze teorii kódování a dekódování, model masové komunikace Stuarta Halla.cs
dc.description.abstract-translatedThis thesis deals with the analysis of cultural representations in the TV series Most! and their confrontation with the inhabitants of the city of Most. The thesis is focusing on the interpretations of these representations, their symbolic meanings, on how the inhabitants of Most deal with these representations in social life and how they eventually transform them within their acquired cultural schemes. The methodological focus of the work is ethnographic research, the design of which takes the form of a mixed research. Research data are interpreted through the Theory of Encoding and Decoding, a model of mass communication by Stuart Hall.en
